Abstract

This peper talks about the neuropsychological approach as an innovative method in teaching reading in a foreign language. Concepts such as neuropsychology, dyslexia, and gnosis are revealed within the framework of pedagogical and neuro-linguistic aspects. The prerequisites and reasons for using a neuropsychological approach in teaching reading in a foreign language to people with signs of dyslexia are revealed. The article substantiates the relevance of using innovative methods not only in teaching reading in one’s native language, but also in a foreign language, in our case it is a Romance language group. The influence of the brain on higher processes of the human psyche and behavior, such as thinking, speech, memory, perception, and, consequently, on educational activity, is explained. It is explained why this phenomenon attracts the special attention of teachers in order to improve the quality of education. The result of this work is the development of a set of exercises for correcting and preventing difficulties in reading in French and German according to the scientific achievements of such neuropsychological practitioners as A. E. Soboleva, T. Yu. Panevezys, J. M. Glozman, T. G. Vizel and others. It is possible to use the experience of testing these exercises when teaching reading and writing in typical foreign languages in any age group.

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the analysis of the motivation of students of a non-linguistic higher educational institution (using the example of first— and second-year students of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution «Smolensk State University of Sports») to learn a foreign language. Replenishment of students’ vocabulary in the context of their future profession is highlighted and considered as the most important component of learning a foreign language, traditional methods of monitoring the development of professionally significant foreign language vocabulary are considered, as well as comparatively more innovative electronic control in the form of online tests. The article analyzes students’ academic performance and their subjective attitude to learning a foreign language, assessing their own knowledge and innovative control methods. The work is part of a study of the cognitive motivation of students at a non-linguistic university and the impact of assessment tools on it, and its result was the decision to use electronic knowledge control along with traditional methods of control when teaching a foreign language at Smolensk State University of Sports.

Abstract

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are a powerful educational tool that plays an important role in providing continuing education in today’s global challenges. However, MOOCs still show a low completion rate (COR). The purpose of the paper is to analyze the positive experience of MOOC implementation, as well as highlight recommendations aimed at solving the problem of the low percentage of MOOC completion by students.

The work is based on a review of the scientific literature on the issue of the low MOOC completion rate, as well as on the basis of quantitative and qualitative analysis of data collected from reviews, surveys, metrics and ratings obtained during the organization of the MOOC «Services and Applications for Teachers» on the Stepik platform with an audience of more than 6,000 participants. The course demonstrates a completion rate of 46.5%, which is significantly higher than the average level for MOOCs and makes it interesting to analyze. The significance of the results lies in analyzing the effectiveness of the proposed recommendations based on the existing course and evaluating its main metrics.

The developed recommendations have shown their effectiveness at the testing stage and can be applied in the development of MOOCs, as well as useful for further research in this area.

Abstract

The article considers the issues of organizing the process of teaching mathematics for the purpose of environmental education of students, which is a component of the personal results specified in the Federal educational programs of basic and secondary general education. Mathematics, being one of the main subjects in the school curriculum, is focused on the development of logical thinking, computational skills and other intellectual abilities of students, and the integration of environmental aspects into the learning process will contribute to the formation of a responsible attitude towards nature. The purpose of the work is to analyze the content of the concept of «environmental education» and highlight the techniques of teaching mathematics, the direction of achieving personal results. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that it substantiates the need to use a set of special techniques in the process of teaching mathematics, including solving contextual problems / cases with an environmental plot; compiling assignments by students based on reference and information material on the state of the environment; conducting practical work in mathematics aimed at caring for nature; conducting integrated environmental lessons; implementing interdisciplinary projects on individual environmental issues; holding extracurricular activities in mathematics, containing tasks of an ecological nature; holding socially significant events with mathematical justification of their results, which will contribute to the ecological education of students due to the possibilities of the academic subject. The article provides examples of the implementation of these techniques in the process of teaching mathematics. The results obtained can be used in the practice of mathematics teachers.

Abstract

The article examines the essence of professional education, professional and creative practices and their educational potential in developing the uniqueness of a specialist. The purpose of the work is to analyze the possibilities of professional and creative practices in the upbringing of a unique specialist, to determine the directions of organizing work with students on the formation of personal professionally significant qualities` complexes that make up the uniqueness of a specialist and to propose forms for the implementation of professional and creative practices. The methods used include the analysis of scientific literature, generalization, systematization, classification and modeling. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the compilation of unique specialists` typology in the areas of educational work and the development of forms, stages, the practice program`s implementation as a variable part of the curriculum. The directions of educational activities for the organization of work with students are defined as the formation of personal professionally significant qualities` complexes that make up the uniqueness of a specialist, and the planned results are presented in the form of competencies and meta-competencies according to the typology of unique specialists. The system of methodological and pedagogical tools and measures of professional and creative practices, as well as the forms and stages of the practice program`s implementation as a variable part of the curriculum are proposed. The results obtained can be used in the development of the of professional and creative upbringing`s theory, for writing methodological recommendations to technical universities` teachers, as well as in the organization of students` extracurricular work. The research materials can also be used to develop the competencies and meta-competencies of technical university students, which will contribute to the formation of their professionally significant qualities.

Abstract

The paper examines methodological approaches to teaching computer science in bilingual classrooms. The aim of the study is to identify effective teaching strategies that promote the development of both subject-specific and linguistic competencies in a dual-language educational environment. The research employs methods of theoretical analysis of scientific literature, comparative analysis, and synthesis of domestic and international practices. The study considers the impact of bilingual education on students’ cognitive development, including executive functions, attention, and critical and flexible thinking. Key challenges are identified, such as insufficient academic language proficiency, cross-linguistic interference, and a lack of adapted materials and digital resources. The paper describes effective methodological approaches, including Content and Language Integrated Learning, translanguaging, discourse-based teaching, project-based learning, and the use of digital and game-based technologies. Practical examples of their implementation in the learning process are provided. Recommendations are proposed for teacher training, the integration of modern educational platforms, and support for linguistic diversity. The results can be applied in the design of bilingual computer science courses and the development of teaching materials for multilingual schools.

Abstract

The article contains such proven teaching methods as a lecture-discussion, a training, work with authentic reading materials, problem methods and the results of scientific diagnostics run by the authors. The aim of the work consists in a system analysis of the realization of the principle of professional orientation in the teaching of non-core subjects for engineering students and the generalization of a productive professional experience in teaching of humanitarian subjects for technical students in the system of Russian higher education. During the work the scientific literature was studied, the reflection on work experience of teaching of humanitarian subjects to the engineering students in the system of higher education was made. The following methods were used: deduction, induction, a survey, psychological testing, systematization, abstraction, analysis, generalization. The authors came to a conclusion that an effective usage of a professional accent may contribute much to improving the quality of mastering of profile subjects and to increasing the motivation to study. The gained positive results allowed to formulate a number of recommendations for a successful implementation of the proposed methods which can be used at lectures or practical classes on Psychology and Foreign Language working with technical students.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to substantiate the choice of effective methods for eliminating manifestations of professional deformation in the teaching field, taking into account the reasons that contribute to their occurrence. The object of the study is the teaching environment of higher education, and the subject area is professional deformation of the teacher’s activity, which requires identifying the actual causes of the formation of deformations and using an appropriate set of measures to eliminate their negative manifestations. The methodological basis of the article is formed by such methods as analysis of sources, published research data, modeling. As a result of the analysis, the need to take into account the causes of professional deformation is substantiated in order to increase the effectiveness of elimination methods. The results obtained can be used by teachers at any stage of the implementation of professional activity.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to substantiate a methodological approach to determining and substantiating the specific features of the economic policy of scientific and technological development of the region in the context of the formation of technological sovereignty. The theoretical basis of the research is based on the conceptual principles of modern theories of scientific and technological development and the theory of competitive advantages. The main methods aimed at achieving the research results are defined: systematization, generalization, balance, graphic, design and selection criteria of the technologies used. The methodological basis of the study was the fundamental principles of reproduction, process and territorial approaches. The results of the theoretical orientation should include the identification and substantiation of specific features of the economic policy of scientific and technological development of regions, as well as the systematization of advantages that allow assessing regional situations in accordance with the decisions taken by the subjects of the regional economy. The results of the practical orientation should be considered an analytical and graphical assessment of the specific features of the economic policy of scientific and technological development of the region, aimed at the formation of modern system characteristics, taking into account not only the essential parameters of scientific and technological processes, but also their substantive component. The direction of using the research results is to consider the potential for the promotion and development of scientific and technological processes, as well as an assessment of the scientific and technological potential of the region.

The article examines the concept of gamification in the context of marketing communications, analyzes its possibilities and limitations. Gamification, as a tool for attracting and retaining customers, allows the use of gaming techniques in non-gaming processes such as the promotion of goods and services. The author explores how gamification can increase audience engagement, stimulate loyalty, and improve brand engagement.

The article is devoted to the study of gamification as an innovative tool of marketing communications. The theoretical aspects of the concept, the mechanisms of introducing game elements into advertising campaigns are considered, the possibilities and limitations of this strategy are identified. Particular attention is paid to the impact of gamification on consumer behavior, audience loyalty, and brand promotion effectiveness.

Gamification is becoming one of the key directions in the development of modern advertising and marketing. The article provides a comprehensive overview of the possibilities and limitations of using gaming technologies in the communication processes of organizations. The concept of gamification is described in detail, and the classification of the main formats of its implementation is given. In addition, the article presents an analysis aimed at identifying effective approaches to introducing game elements into marketing strategies, as well as assessing their impact on consumer behavior.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the state and prospects of socio-economic development of the Omsk region, one of the subjects of the Russian Federation. The study is relevant in the context of assessing the regional economy and planning future strategies, especially against the background of economic pressure and the revision of foreign economic relations.

The aim of the work is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the region’s economy and form forward-looking estimates based on data for 2023-2024. To achieve this goal, the tasks of processing statistical data from official sources and conducting comparative analysis with indicators of other subjects of the Siberian Federal District are being solved.

The novelty of the research lies in a comprehensive approach to the analysis of economic indicators of the Omsk region, including industrial production, agriculture, the construction industry and demographic data. Special attention is paid to comparing regional data with national and Siberian Federal District indicators, which makes it possible to identify the specifics of the region’s economic development. Based on the analysis, the author identifies the leading sectors of the regional economy, such as industrial production and agriculture, and problematic areas requiring special attention, such as the construction industry and an insufficiently active investment policy. The conclusions provide recommendations for the development of long-term planning for the development of the economic complex of the Omsk region, taking into account the analysis carried out.

The results of the study can be useful for developing strategies for sustainable development of the Omsk region and other regions of Russia.

The article is devoted to topical issues of transformation in the context of the transition to digitalization and the corresponding formation of digital systems, the development of artificial intelligence and the introduction of information technologies. The article examines the evolution of the digital economy, as well as analyzes the changes in the Russian economic system caused by the processes of digitalization. The authors have considered and systematized the types and types of interaction of participants in digital relations. The factors influencing the processes of digital transformation dynamics are identified. Assessing the digitalization of the economy, the emphasis is on digital interaction and the digital transformation of the economic system. Digital interaction is the evolution of market interaction based on the segmentation of subjects of the digital economy. The article discusses the most important aspects of the practice of digital transformation development. The dynamics of digital transformation is determined by the factors of increasing digital literacy, the formation of digital standards and government support for digitalization processes. The effect of digital transformation is not only to increase the competitiveness of companies, but also the emergence of categories such as electronic services, digital money and ecosystems. In conclusion, a conclusion is formed on the directions of modernization of approaches to public and corporate governance of digitalization processes.

Abstract

The development of the digital economy, along with issues of providing food to the population, is given attention all over the world. However, due to the lack of research in the field of the impact of digitalization on the formation of food markets, the mechanisms of public policy in matters of ensuring food security don’t disclose. The paper presents recommendations for regional authorities in the framework of the introduction of digital tools in the sphere of regulation of food markets. The methodological basis of the study is the theory of market formation. The study uses econometric methods of panel data analysis. The information base of the study consists of statistical data characterizing the degree of digitalization of the economy, food price indices, and the rate of production development for the period 1991–2022. The study put forward a hypothesis that the intensification of the development of the digital transformation process lead to an increase in the efficiency of the region’s food markets, as well as meeting the needs of different consumer segments in terms of price and quality. It is found that digital processes in the economy (including investments in information technology) does not affect the production index and food security, but are significant in the process of food price formation. The author considers the degree of influence of digitalization factors on the formation of prices for food products allow developing measures to improve the situation of consumers and increase production efficiency. The paper examines key digitalization factors, the impact on which will strengthen the processes of integration of regions and solve the problems of food supply.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the participation of vertically integrated structures of the petrochemical industry in the formation and development of cooperative interactions in the Omsk region. As a conceptual basis, the material of the article is focused on the evolutionary economic and spatial theory. The research uses scientific methods of constructing concepts, generalization and description, as well as the method of analyzing materials. According to the theoretical and methodological part of the study, the definition of regional vertically integrated structures is given. The main results of the study are reduced to the substantiation of regional vertically integrated structures and the identification of their features. The main cooperative chains involving regional vertically integrated structures representing the petrochemical industry of the Omsk region are highlighted. It is noted that the functioning of regional vertically integrated structures of the petrochemical industry corresponds to the export-oriented and cooperative orientation outlined in the Strategy for the Socio-economic Development of the Omsk region until 2030, and the high contribution of enterprises of the business structures under consideration to ensuring the current socio-economic sustainability and export potential of the Omsk region. It is concluded that it is necessary to further develop cooperative ties with the participation of regional vertically integrated structures of the Omsk region petrochemical industry in the interests of ensuring strategic competitive regional development and strengthening the region’s position in the Russian and international markets.

Abstract

This article examines the influence of competitiveness theories on the ability of domestic companies to successfully compete in the domestic market, which in turn is an important factor in ensuring technological sovereignty. Objectives: to analyze the stages of development of competitiveness theories and sources of competitive advantages; to show the opportunities opening up for companies in the digital economy; to evaluate the activities of technology companies and state corporations that apply competitiveness concepts in practice. Methodology: general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, systematization using systems analysis. Results: it is shown that the evolution of competitiveness theories reflects changes in business conditions; competitive advantages today are the ability of companies to adapt, cooperate, innovate, create value; it is proven that the challenges faced by companies force them to focus on new theoretical concepts, explore them and adapt them to new market requirements in order to achieve competitive advantages. Conclusions: the study shows that the evolution of competitiveness theories is a dynamic process; by implementing theories in practice, modern companies can achieve sustainable competitive advantages and solve the problems of forming the foundations for the transition of the Russian Federation to technologies of technological sovereignty.

Abstract

The article examines the importance of farms for the development of small and medium-sized agricultural businesses in the Omsk region. Emphasis was placed on determining the priority of farms as the main component of small and medium-sized agribusiness in the region. The methodological basis of the study was the methods of statistics and economic analysis. The proportion of agricultural products in the context of various categories of farms of the Omsk region has been determined. For the period from 2021 to 2023, the share of farm products in the region in the crop industry ranged from 39.4% to 41.3%; for livestock, 4.8% to 5.6%. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of sown areas of crops in the context of farm categories. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the area cultivated by farms in the region is 47.7% of all sown areas in the Omsk region. The article presents data on the dynamics and volumes of production of the main types of agricultural products, which makes it possible to positively assess the contribution of farms to the total agricultural production in the region. The conclusion was made about the main priority of peasant farms in the formation of key production indicators of the crop industry and the potential opportunities for farmers in the region to develop the livestock industry as part of the products of small and medium-sized agribusiness entities.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to study, from a legal point of view, the causes of the demographic crisis in the Russian Federation and the possibilities of government authorities to promote an increase in the birth rate. The Russian Federation is currently on the verge of a serious demographic crisis. Overcoming the critical situation with a low birth rate is the primary task of the state. In the course of the work, formal legal, sociological, comparative legal, and historical methods were used. Based on an analysis of the work of research scientists and analytical materials on the demographic situation in the Russian Federation, the article identifies possible causes of the demographic crisis in our country and offers specific recommendations for increasing the population. The solution of demographic problems in modern Russia is possible only with the implementation of an integrated approach: changes in state policy in the field of marriage and family; elimination of the causes of the demographic crisis, including those initiated from abroad; improving the legislation of the Russian Federation; increasing the level of support for pregnant women and families with children. Based on the analysis of Russian legislation, it was determined that the opportunities provided by legislation to promote birth rate growth are not being used effectively enough, since they do not take into account the underlying causes of demographic problems.

Abstract

The article examines the genesis of the inheritance contract and its ramifications in various legal systems, using the comparative legal method. The prepared review should serve as a basis for understanding the legal nature of the inheritance contract, the formation of the relevant legislative framework, as well as its interpretation, including in the process of law enforcement. The author comes to the conclusion that the attitude to the inheritance contract has been ambiguous since ancient times, while the reason at all times remains its «immorality» (inadmissibility of «irrevocability»), subject to cultural factors rather than the strictness of legal structures. It has been established that inheritance relations objectively require contractual regulation, therefore the practical needs of civil turnover in various legal systems are somehow satisfied by various analogues or unique versions of the inheritance contract.
