This article explores the techniques employed in the initial stage of teaching Russian to Chinese students in a non-linguistic environment, drawing on the pedagogical experience of collaboration between Russian and Chinese instructors. Given the increasing demand in China for specialists proficient in Russian, the topic of this study is particularly relevant in the current academic and professional landscape.
The objective of this research is to analyze the methods used in teaching Russian to Chinese students at the beginner level in a non-linguistic environment, based on the collaborative teaching experience of Russian and Chinese instructors at MSU-BIT in Shenzhen.
To achieve this goal, the study aims to identify the specific characteristics of teaching Russian in a Chinese educational setting, examine the organizational aspects of the learning process implemented by both Chinese and Russian instructors, and analyze their respective pedagogical approaches to teaching Russian as a foreign language.
The research methodology employs a descriptive-analytical approach combined with a comparative analysis. A comparative study of key instructional techniques used in the initial stage of Russian language acquisition by Chinese students in a non-linguistic environment was conducted, based on the pedagogical collaboration between Russian and Chinese instructors. The findings of this study can be applied in the educational process and contribute to further research on this subject.
This paper investigates the comparative effectiveness of authentic game-based learning and traditional speech exercises in teaching novice foreign language learners about the Russian case system.
The research is based on an empirical study conducted with first-year Chinese students at the North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power (Zhengzhou, Henan Province), all of whom were beginners in the Russian language.
The main focus of the study is the impact of different teaching approaches on the acquisition of the prepositional case in its locative meaning — the first step in learning the Russian case system according to the «Doroga v Rossiyu» textbook [1]. The analysis focuses on authentic game-based techniques specifically designed for this purpose, and compares their effectiveness with traditional speech exercises from the textbook.
The primary research aim is to determine if there is a statistically significant difference in learning outcomes for Russian grammar when using either a game-based or traditional approach. In other words, the study seeks to ascertain whether authentic games, due to their inherent characteristics, have a stronger potential to facilitate grammar skills acquisition (specifically the use of the locative case) than traditional speech exercises.

The article considers current issues of involving students in the online educational process. Onboarding is studied as an innovative engagement tool — a set of activities that form the first impression of the virtual learning environment and are aimed at a successful start to learning. Including onboarding in the organizational structure of the online educational process helps to reduce stress, increase comfort, reduce time for support, accelerate the process of achieving results, and improve results and satisfaction. The article considers various approaches to the engagement model, highlights the factors influencing engagement and their categories. Onboarding and adaptation are presented as the initial stages of the online educational process, which help the learner successfully immerse himself in a new environment and become a part of it. A three-stage onboarding strategy (immersion, training, adaptation), basic rules and principles of usability are described. The onboarding technology is presented through a structural description of its constituent modules (social adaptation, technical adaptation, educational adaptation, professional and personal self-realization), and the formats of onboarding adaptation activities are set.

The article examines the impact of technological development of regions on the need for human resources. Based on the analysis of statistical data, analytical information, ratings and a review of published materials, it was revealed that socio-economic development and the introduction of digital solutions in the region form the need for personnel with digital competencies. The authors substantiate that the key factors in the success of the implementation of innovations are the digital skills of personnel and their ability to adapt to new technologies. It has been proven that small and medium-sized regional enterprises are inferior to large ones in the implementation of new technologies, not only due to the lack of sufficient financial resources, but also due to an insufficient number of qualified applicants for vacancies, since many prefer to get a job at large enterprises or move to megacities. To solve the problems of a shortage of qualified personnel, it is necessary to implement programs to forecast needs in promising and in-demand areas of specialist training, add practice-oriented programs in education, and conduct ongoing monitoring of graduates’ employment. It is necessary to develop tools for state regulation of interactions between the regional education system and the labor sphere, functioning on a digital basis.
