VALUE MANAGEMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF THE DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The relevance of the study is due to the need to develop theoretical views on the formation of the process of value management in the framework of improving the organizational culture of the University. The aim of the work is to study the value management (axiological management), the principles of which are most consistent with the needs of the modern University, the formation of a unified system of values of the University (value core) and the analysis of the points of contact of the value core and personal value orientations of staff. The main objectives of the study were to determine the characteristics of value management in educational institutions of higher education, analysis of organizational processes of management by values and identify the potential of the University through the use of value management tools. The values of the educational organization are the core of the organizational culture, on the basis of which the rules and regulations governing the behavior of employees and students at the University are formed. Value orientations are based on the formed needs of the individual, her inclinations and inclinations, performing the main function in the process of making a significant majority of decisions. It was determined that the value core of the organizational culture of the University performs security and integrating functions, regulates the behavior of employees and students. It was proved that the problems of value orientations of scientific and pedagogical staff and students are the most important actor in the development of organizational culture. The expected result of the use of value management is the formation of a cohesive team of employees and students, United by common goals and values, focused on the manifestation of activity and initiative. The qualitative assessment is based on observation methods and a questionnaire. Theoretical and methodological basis of the study were the provisions and categorical apparatus of the theory of value management, key ideas and concepts in the field of organization and management of educational institutions of higher education. In the course of the research General scientific research methods were used: system, complex and value approaches, method of scientific abstraction and structural and functional analysis, statistical methods of information processing and critical analysis. The authors came to the conclusion that value management is a kind of management philosophy that allows to create a single semantic field and improve the efficiency of University management. The validity and reliability of the results of the study is provided by its theoretical elaboration and methodological validity, the logic of the formulation of research problems and the sequence of their solutions, the selection of statistical material, as well as the positive results of the testing of the results. The results of the study are of great theoretical and practical importance for the rationalization of organizational culture management, achievement of performance targets and development of the concept of value-based management in higher education.
