THEORIES OF COMPETITIVENESS AND COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES IN MODERN REALITIES

Abstract

This article examines the influence of competitiveness theories on the ability of domestic companies to successfully compete in the domestic market, which in turn is an important factor in ensuring technological sovereignty. Objectives: to analyze the stages of development of competitiveness theories and sources of competitive advantages; to show the opportunities opening up for companies in the digital economy; to evaluate the activities of technology companies and state corporations that apply competitiveness concepts in practice. Methodology: general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, systematization using systems analysis. Results: it is shown that the evolution of competitiveness theories reflects changes in business conditions; competitive advantages today are the ability of companies to adapt, cooperate, innovate, create value; it is proven that the challenges faced by companies force them to focus on new theoretical concepts, explore them and adapt them to new market requirements in order to achieve competitive advantages. Conclusions: the study shows that the evolution of competitiveness theories is a dynamic process; by implementing theories in practice, modern companies can achieve sustainable competitive advantages and solve the problems of forming the foundations for the transition of the Russian Federation to technologies of technological sovereignty.
