PROFESSIONAL AND CREATIVE PRACTICES AT A TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY AS A FACTOR IN UPBRINGING A UNIQUE SPECIALIST

Abstract

The article examines the essence of professional education, professional and creative practices and their educational potential in developing the uniqueness of a specialist. The purpose of the work is to analyze the possibilities of professional and creative practices in the upbringing of a unique specialist, to determine the directions of organizing work with students on the formation of personal professionally significant qualities` complexes that make up the uniqueness of a specialist and to propose forms for the implementation of professional and creative practices. The methods used include the analysis of scientific literature, generalization, systematization, classification and modeling. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the compilation of unique specialists` typology in the areas of educational work and the development of forms, stages, the practice program`s implementation as a variable part of the curriculum. The directions of educational activities for the organization of work with students are defined as the formation of personal professionally significant qualities` complexes that make up the uniqueness of a specialist, and the planned results are presented in the form of competencies and meta-competencies according to the typology of unique specialists. The system of methodological and pedagogical tools and measures of professional and creative practices, as well as the forms and stages of the practice program`s implementation as a variable part of the curriculum are proposed. The results obtained can be used in the development of the of professional and creative upbringing`s theory, for writing methodological recommendations to technical universities` teachers, as well as in the organization of students` extracurricular work. The research materials can also be used to develop the competencies and meta-competencies of technical university students, which will contribute to the formation of their professionally significant qualities.
