Abstract

The article analyzes the role of the mechanism of perception in learning. The purpose of the work is determining the relationship between the level of development of perception and the effectiveness of students’ work on mastering information, and describing methods for the independent development of perception. The methods used include the system method; methods of formalization, abstraction, concretization, modeling of the learning process based on interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches. Among the empirical methods used were student questionnaires, observation of the academic work of the subjects, a survey, and an experiment. The result of the developed methodology is the conclusion that the purposeful development of perception ensures the completeness, integrity, consistency of the data obtained, as well as the connection of the apperception mechanism. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the substantiation and development of tasks for the evolution of perception with the further transfer of students to the mode of self-development of the cognitive sphere. The results obtained can be applied in the elaboration of classes in any discipline using educational texts. The authors of the article came to the conclusion that the transfer of students to self-education mode should be accompanied by the development of a perception mechanism, the full-fledged operation of which is a prerequisite for launching information processing processes.
