Abstract
The article discusses the need to take into account the influence of external factors when planning the activities of domestic poultry farming organizations. The purpose of the work is to determine the composition of environmental factors influencing the activities of poultry enterprises in the region. The methods used include statistical and monographic. The author of the article came to the conclusion that the influence of environmental factors on the functioning of poultry farming organizations is not unidirectional; it can be both positive and negative; accordingly, some factors can provide certain opportunities for enterprises, while others can pose threats and restrictions for activities in the market, in addition, when analyzing the external environment, it is necessary to take into account that all groups of factors and their components are closely related to each other. The market for poultry products, from the point of view of market structure, can be characterized as a market of strict oligopoly. When analyzing the content of factors, it should be noted that the main problem of domestic enterprises in this industry has been and remains dependence on imported selection. Using the STEP analysis technique as an example, the Omsk region identified the main problems in the development of regional producers of poultry meat and eggs and proposed measures to adapt regional specialized agricultural organizations to the influence of environmental factors.
