Abstract

Issues of regional and sectoral development of agriculture are becoming particularly relevant in the context of trade and economic cooperation between Russia and China. The article analyzes the key factors influencing the development of the agricultural sector of both countries, including technological exchange, logistics, government support, adaptation to climate change, export-import relations and interaction with small and medium businesses. Particular attention is paid to the digitalization of the agricultural sector as a driver of agricultural modernization, which is confirmed by studies by domestic and foreign authors. The authors consider the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture, substantiate the need to integrate innovative technologies, and analyze possible risks and mechanisms for their minimization. The research methods used are description, comparative analysis, classification and forecasting. Based on the reviewed data, a model of strategic interaction between Russia and China in the agricultural sector is proposed, aimed at increasing the competitiveness and sustainable development of rural areas. The article also provides an analysis of the regulatory framework governing Russian-Chinese agricultural cooperation, considers the key areas of its further development, and assesses the impact of new technologies and logistics solutions on increasing trade turnover between the countries. The presented results can be useful for scientists, specialists in the field of agricultural economics, as well as public and private structures dealing with trade and economic cooperation in the agricultural sector.
