Abstract
The article examines the impact of augmented reality (AR) technologies on the motivation of cadets studying in educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs system during their training in informatics. Augmented reality technologies help adapt complex theoretical material to practical tasks, facilitating deeper knowledge acquisition and increasing engagement levels. An analysis of studies on the application of augmented reality in the educational environment highlights its advantages, including visualization, interactivity, and personalization. The conducted research includes the development of educational materials using augmented reality and an assessment of its impact on cadets’ motivation. The experimental results demonstrate that augmented reality stimulates active participation of learners, improves their academic performance, and fosters sustained interest in the subject. The findings emphasize the importance of integrating modern technologies into the educational process to enhance the quality of professional training for cadets studying in educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs system. The practical significance of the work lies in the potential for large-scale implementation of AR technologies to modernize training in specialized institutions.
